UAE Ministry of Labour has passed a rule that the six months ban will be cancelled starting in January, according to a report in Arabic daily Al Bayan.
The ban can be terminated if the work permit and employment are terminated in mutual agreement between the employer and employee. Also, if the employee has failed to complete two years at the first company, he/she will be allowed new work permits to join another company immediately.
Further, employees under level IV and V who fail to complete six months with the first company will be excluded from this rule, the Ministry confirmed. The ministry has completed procedures for implementation of the resolution…. see more
