  • Christian Elder says:

He has a great Facebook page, but he well knows (or should) science is not the be all end all. It is man’s best attempt at explaining things in this reality. Atheism is a fool’s errand. Hopefully he can use his talent to help the Arab world escape the deception of mohammedism, which is the leash that has really been holding them back. The West has drifted far from its moorings in Christianity, so science and technology are becoming the new god(s) – secular progressivism the new gospel. Unfortunately for those disciples the desire for techno-utopia is a false promise. If the moral foundation is lost, who or what will be the ultimate arbiter of right and wrong? What will A.I. decide? Perish the thought. Only Christ offers the true hope. Seek Him +++

    • Shahbaz Hussain says:

I dont get how do you find Islam (as you mentioned it with the term Mohammadism) is the root cause of why Arab is not following science. Well I think you are absolutely wrong if you think Islam is the cause. The thing that is stopping them is the influence of Rich people who have control over almost every institute in the Arabian region. He rightly said when they need something they just buy it. They dont create options to create for themselves. It has nothing to do with the religion. I bet those rich arabs really do not follow 20% of Islam. Islam is something that makes you think beyond boundaries. There are only couple of Dont’s and nothing else you can challenge. One God, Last Prophet. That’s the seal of Islam anything around it you are free to explore and go beyond. Why One God, Why Last Prophet… you can learn and try to find why its limited to just believe this way.. coz there is no other option that science or any truthful study can lead you to. What people are doing it wont matter. IN every society there are a lot of good people and a very handful of bad guys. That doesnt make the whole society bad… Clear up yoru mind from the media lies. You are playing double standards here.

  • Avera Yugen says:

If anyone is ever in need of a volunteer project, please consider setting up a listening center, with some telephones and some open hearted intelligent people ready to listen. They should have knowledge of psychology and current events and mostly they should be the kind of people who would always be willing to listen and help anyone who was in trouble, off the phone or on. It would make a great difference in the life of the caller, to know someone really cares without attitudes of judgment or bias or contempt. In the world we have, people feel good or bad depending on their personal successes in life, the kind they themselves feel make a difference. And if they feel they are not measuring up to their own demands for themselves, they might wonder is their life worth the trouble of living it. And they don’t always have any family or friends they can turn to, at least in the USA this is a huge problem. A hotline might be the only place they can go to talk to someone who cares. In the USA there are such hotlines but most of them are not really that helpful, for all the reasons people feel cut-off in the first place. The problem of loneliness and futility is terrible and it is growing. So if anyone sees this please seriously consider setting up a QUALITY hotline project and recruit “listeners” who know how to show love and concern to strangers as well as friends. The rewards could be incalculable.

The reason macro-evolution can’t be “observed” is for the same reason the movement of tectonic plates can’t be observed:
We simply don’t live long enough to observe a process that occurs so gradually.

Therefore, we are forced to rely on indirect means of “observing” these processes take place very much like electron microscopes must be used as indirectly viewing things at such a small scale that our eyes cannot see it.
