“Life is a preparation for the future; and the best preparation for the future is to live as if there were none.”
– Albert Einstein
Past is something that we bumped into. In which we fizzled many times but we never succeeded at the same rate, why? We tried our best to live for the future but had strong faith in past, why? Why were we still holding to past? Because it is something that happened to us and that is something that gives us a sense of being ourselves .During such times we think that perhaps our future will bliss with a wonder light so, we pin our all hopes on future like an optimistic man and again believe that something might come to us. This time we keep looking at future. We see this all because we know about this and we have knowledge about this fact. But we never actually experience the future why? Although we have knowledge but still failure exists, why?
Because we deem that we know more than we think while actually we think more than we do know. We never think of wisdom. If we just have replaced knowledge with wisdom the results would have been different. But here it doesn’t mean that we never had faced failure but it means that one must be satisfied and live happily with inner peace. What makes wisdom different from knowledge? Knowledge means knowing, wisdom is doing.
The current era that we are living in is an era of struggle. Now is an era of war, an endless war and a race against time. Each and every being wants to live a worthy and perfect life. Everyone values his life for life is an opportunity. It deserves to be lived in a perfect manner. Consider this quote from The Gift of Giving:
“The moments of your life are opportunities to use and build upon your special talents and abilities, to do the best you can, with what you have, where you are, and thus give something back, in gratitude and in faith, for the gift of living. In this lies a profound realization. If you do not live your life completely, realizing the values and goals that you hold to be worthwhile, making your unique contribution to the world in which you live, nobody ever will. Your song will die with you.”
Now is the time for innovation. It is the time to start over. It is the time to continue your journey. It is the time to make your afterlife. Living in the past or depending on the future isn’t the rightful path to glory. The only path to triumph is the present. Life has no destination, it is a continuous journey. To continue this journey, one should learn from the past, hope for the future and live in the present.
