SAMSUNG has landed a cheeky blow against Apple in the latest round of sparring between the two technology giants, taking aim the iPhone 5.
The Korean tech gurus are set to release an ad campaign directly comparing the new iPhone with the Galaxy SIII, Mashable reports.
The simplistic advertising campaign places the phones and their specifications side by side to show customers what they’re getting with either product.
Samsung’s two taglines – “it doesn’t take a genius” and “The Next Big Thing is already here” are two direct body blows to Apple.
Apple were well beaten to the punch by Samsung’s recently released Galaxy SIII, which has seen Samsung’s market share continue to grow.
Apple also trades of its Genius sub-brand, with in-store “genius” experts and the iTunes “genius” function.
There’s also the matter of the, and we quote, “totally different plug”.
