Manchester United have moved a step closer to signing Gareth Bale in January after Real Madrid reportedly put the player up for sale.
United are believed to have made Bale their number one transfer target for the new year, with the club willing to pay him £300,000-a-week to move to Old Trafford.
The main sticking point to any deal has been whether Madrid would want to sell the Welshman, but reports in Spain say they are now happy to do business.
It’s claimed manager Carlo Ancelotti has agreed to lose Bale, as he no longer considers him a first-choice, following an impressive run of matches from Isco.
Madrid apparently want £90million for Bale – an amount United are fine with paying.
