The Interpol has refused to arrest former president Pervez Musharraf in the trial of Benazir Bhutto murder by saying; Pakistan’s evidences are insufficient.
The Interpol has returned a Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) letter with objections on grounds of lack of evidences against the former Pakistani Dictator. The FIA-Pak has issued a red warrant to Interpol’s headquarters for the arrest of Musharraf following the orders by Rawalpindi’s anti-terrorism court. The relevant documents were dispatched to Interpol authorities in Geneva. However, the international organization has retuned the dossier with the objection said above.
