Faith…

“Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness.” Holy Quran
Faith is the most significant part of human philosophy. A man without faith is like a body without soul. All religions of the world teach faith in the divine existence to their followers, although the name of these divine forces varies. Some call it God, others Allah; some say it is the combination of powers of different Gods. The idea of this force evolved and varied through time and there have been great wars over it. But in common, the followers of all the religions have faith in some marvelous and supernatural forces that are supposed to create man and exist to keep the world run in an organized pattern.

Faith is considered as the essence of religion; the soul of belief.  To quote Khalil Jibran, “Faith is knowledge within the heart, beyond the reach of proof.” Life can never be thought of without the existence of faith. Even if one is unaware of the existence of God, he still has faith; in himself and in nature. Faith is not a sand castle on the shore, which will be destroyed by the high tides. It is like the strongest tree nourished through belief that maintains its existence and survives even through the storms.

Man is a weak creature and the faith in God is his strongest power. He can never be defeated until or unless he loses this power and gives up on God. A courageous man always has the strong faith.

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”   Martin Luther King
