England Beats Visitors by a Long Shot

What a strange one-day series this is getting to be. The levels of batting breakdown are expanding with each one match. Sri Lankan team which is a good batting line-up bowled out for 144 at the Oval and on the other side English Cricket Team was all out on just 99 in Durham and here now again visitor all out for just 67. This score (67) is Sri Lanka’s third lowest score ever in One Day International Cricket.

Bowling of England
Well, if I talk about this 3rd One Day International, Chris Jordan is the man of the moment for England who is becoming something of a pin up for English Cricket Team, this was his (C.Jordan) maiden five-wicket haul by destroying Sri Lankan batting line up completely. Chris Jordan bowled Eight overs in this match and got five-wickets by giving just 29 runs. James Anderson was also extremely good with the new ball, he bowled seven overs and got two important early wickets by giving just ten runs he also bowled two overs maiden. Bowling was extra-ordinary of England JC Tredwell also got 2 wickets, he bowled only three overs, anyways Chris Jordan finished with 5 for 29 when he trapped Lasith Malinga lbw he was brilliant today.

Batting of Sri Lanka
If I talk now batting of Sri Lankan team, The top scorer was Kumar Sangakkara who scored 13 runs along with him only MD Jayawardene and AD Mathews could enter in double figures (12, 11)
Other nine batsmen even could not enter into double figures. Visitor team was totally off-color today as well as the shot selection was really poor.

Batting of England
Well, It was come back of Alastair Cook after injury, he came opener along with Ian Bell, both of batsmen were fully comfortable because the total was easy to chase and wasn’t a big one. AN Cook scored 30 runs* with two dashing boundaries and his partner IR Bell scored 41runs* with 4 fours and finished the match with a massive six.

Bowling of Sri Lanka
Suppose if you have just 67 runs to defend and the opposition has 50 overs to play means more then 300 balls to play, how can you go with a winning mind set? Well its Cricket everything is possible but not every time. Sri Lankan bowlers were looking down when they came to bowl because they knew we are going to say good bye to this match. NM Kulasekara bowled 3 overs and gave 14 runs along with him SL Malinga also bowled three overs and gave 13 runs, Non of them even could take a single break through for his team. Sri Lanka did all the tricks but in vain. England who chooses to field first, Led the 5 match series 2-1.
