MANILA, Philippines—The Office of the Ombudsman on Monday filed plunder case against former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in connection with the questionable use of funds from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
Sandiganbayan Docket division confirmed that the complaint has been filed this afternoon and will be scheduled for raffle to a Sandiganbayan division.
This is the first plunder case filed against Arroyo.
