Pakistan is renowned for the beauty of its Northern areas. Northern Pakistan can be referred to as heaven on earth. Pakistan has some of the world’s most gorgeous valleys in its Northern areas with alpine flowers, fairy meadows, frenzied rivers and snow-covered mountains. The North of Pakistan is recognized for its scrumptious food. With the freezing weather, it’s pleasant to eat delicious warm food right from the stove-top.

Murree

Pakistan’s most popular hill station is Murree which lies 50 kilometers northeast of the Pakistani capital Islamabad. Murree has the highest rating of receiving tourists every year, both in summers and winters. The famous tourist spots include Ghora gali, Mall road, Kashmir point, Pindi point, Ayubia, Nathiyagali and the list goes on. As Murree is a small hill station, all the destinations are nearby and so are comfy hotels with restaurants of their own.

Bhurban

Bhurban has many breathtaking sights. It is known for its scenic hiking trails, golf courses and national park. Swat valley

Swat valley is the first name that comes to mind while talking about valleys of Pakistan. It is a flawlessly spectacular valley which is perfect for a holiday tour. It is home to beautiful sights of cold lakes, flower covered slopes and fruit gardens. It is situated at an altitude of 975 meters. Though the weather is cold here, it is relatively less freezing than other valleys of Pakistan. The main attractions of the Swat valley include its archeology, the scenery, and their history and art. Languages spoken by the locals there include Pushto and Kohistani mainly, with a few people having fluency in English and Urdu.  Some other interesting things that Swat is famous for are its unique embroidery, artistic jewelry and textured wood carving. There are more than 30 hotels ranging from top to cheap guest houses in Murree that can be pre booked easily before they run out of rooms.

There are great offerings for foodies in Northern Pakistan as well. If names like Kulcha, Chapli Kabab, Firni, Shomleh, Kabuli Pulao and butter naan make your mouth water, then you have to plan a trip to these places to satisfy your food cravings.
