Musharaf: A Stranger who Sought Help in Pakistan

10 years ago | Posted in: Articles | 1011 Views

Pervaiz Musharaf believed or was rather made believing that Pakistanis, whom he made prosperous and equipped them with more than which was called basic necessities of life, called Musharaf for further help when everything was taken away from them. In believing so, Mr. Musharaf hallucinated that he will be getting cordial welcome as Messiah, support, and admiration, which will enable Musharaf in entering power corridors once again. Inarguably, his rule provided astonishing and rapid growth to a country, which was decaying swiftly. In more beautiful words, Musharaf coloured the blank canvas of Pakistan beautifully where esthetic sense was especially taken care of. During Musharaf’s rule, Pakistan got muscular in various fields i.e. economy, education sector, energy sector, media, health etc. People who could never afford a secondhand bicycle, they purchased zero meter motorbikes and cars, similarly employment opportunities appeared as in volume as frogs appeared in rainy season. Pakistani currency was strong, inflation wasn’t appeared an issue anymore, and over all life was as smooth as butter during his rule.

When Musharaf saw hisself sweltering through article 6 case, which was instrumentalised in appeasing personal vendetta of various politicians and judiciary especially Nawaz Shareef PM of Pakistan and former CJ of SC of Pakistan Iftikhar Chaudry whom people recalled as cheap justice, then he called Pakistanis to help him getting justice. But did anybody see dead coming for help? Musharaf asked Pakistanis to get awakened but he forgot that, the one got awakened who slept, but the dead never risen up at all. The one who never stood up for his rights, how he could stand up for Musharaf? People stood up if they had knowledge, awareness, education, and intelligence and sadly, majority of Pakistanis had none of these. Musharaf had to survive by his own otherwise he simply cannot rely upon Pakistanis, whose majority basically happened to be disloyal, opportunistic, coward, political, and hypocrite etc.

People of Kufa insured their support for Imam Hussain R.A but eventually he was betrayed. Thus, Musharaf better be realising as soon as possible that he was too deserted as Hussain R.A was deserted, therefore, he should not be having any sort of expectations from Pakistanis that they will ever rescue him as he rescued them from poverty. Majority of Pakistanis never repaid their debts and it forgot its Messiahs very often. Musharaf better be realising as soon as possible that no matter how biggest Pakistani he was, majority of Pakistanis had disowned him. Due to the very betrayal of majority of Pakistanis Musharaf, who sloganeered “Pakistan comes first”, became a stranger in his own country where everybody dealt him as a stranger and laughed upon him when he asked help and justice. Musharaf a bloody stranger, who sought justice in Pakistan, forgot that how Pakistanis, who very seldom provided justice to each other, could provide justice to a stranger? Had Musharaf lost his mind whilst expecting unexpected in Pakistan?

Article 6 of Pakistani constitution bounded Pakistani government to initiate high treason trial against the one who abrogated or subverted or suspended or held Pakistan constitution in abeyance. Under the same discipline everybody else, who was his aider or abettor of such person, was guilty likewise. But sociopathically, only Musharaf was enchained by article 6, whereas hundreds of his aider and abettors were left untouched i.e.

  1. CJ of Pakistan SC Iftikhar Chaudry.
  2. Musharaf’s subordinates including Gen (ret) Kiyani,
  3. Hundreds of politicians including Former PM of Pakistan Chaudry Shujaat.

In addition, high treason case was filed against 3 Nov 2007 emergency, whereas Musharaf, as per constitution of Pakistan, was supposed to be trialed from 11 October 1999. And trialing Musharaf only, from 3 Nov 2007 instead of from 11 October 1999 along with his aider and abettors, was not only constitutional violation i.e. article 4, 5, 6, & 10A but it also inflicted severe human rights violation. And until it gets too late, government of Pakistan, Judiciary of Pakistan, U.N, and other international human rights organisations were required to be realising constitutional and human rights violations, carried out through the unjust trial of Musharaf. Concluding the debate, high treason case exclusively against Musharaf from 3 Nov 2007 was nothing but political and judicial victimisation, which saturated personal vendetta of Nawaz Shareef and Iftikhar Chaudry, the former CJ of Pak SC.
