Three more objects have been spotted in the hunt for the missing Malaysia Airlines plane which vanished three weeks ago.
A Chinese aircraft scouring the ocean off Australia’s west coast has seen white, red and orange objects, the official Xinhua news agency reported.
It is the latest in a string of sightings of possible debris from flight MH370, which disappeared less than an hour into a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people on board.
The Ilyushin IL-76, which caught sight of the objects, was the first plane back from the search zone more than 1,100 miles west of Perth.
A Chinese patrol vessel, Haixun 01, has also been scouring the Indian Ocean since first light in the hope of finding debris.
A total of eight aircraft are involved in Saturday’s search.
