Manchester United are set to make a £50million offer for PSG striker Edinson Cavani, with Louis van Gaal desperate to do a deal.
Cavani has emerged as a target for a number of Premier League clubs in the last few months, and looks certain to leave PSG in the new year.
Arsenal and Liverpool have a strong interest, but the Daily Star says United are ready to make a £50million offer to bring him to Old Trafford.
Any deal would likely see Radamel Falcao return to Monaco from his loan spell.
