The premiere of a controversial comedy about the assassination of Kim Jong-Un has been cancelled after threats against cinemas planning to show it.
A group of hackers who attacked Sony Pictures, which produced The Interview, vowed that those who went to see it would face a “bitter fate”.
It also encouraged those who lived near cinemas showing the film to leave their homes.
“We will clearly show it to you at the very time and places The Interview be shown, including the premiere, how bitter fate those who seek fun in terror should be doomed to,” it said.
