Weeks after the launch of the iPhone 6 smartphone – and the controversy over reports that the device bends in users’ pockets – some owners claim that the device is pulling their hair out – literally.
Known on social media as “hairgate,” iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users have complained that their hair is getting caught in California-based tech giant Apple’s bestselling device when they make phone calls.
The problem is caused by a small gap between the phone’s glass front and aluminum case, wrote a user on popular Apple-orientated tech site 9to5Mac, citing reports from other users microblogging site Twitter.
However, an article on the website of U.S.-based business publication Forbes suggests that the reports are “nonsense,” and that “the gap between the front glass and aluminum does not exist.”
“We have lived through an era of phones gaps, notably between physical phone keys on dumbphones and keyboards on BlackBerrys. We even survived clamshell hinges without our follicles being terrorized,” the article added…. see more
