An old Filipino converted to Islam a day before he died of cancer in Saudi Arabia after religious officials visited him at hospital.
A U-Tube film showed the man uttered words for Islam dictated to him by a religious official and changed him name from Ricard to Abdullah.
The film showed the man cried as a doctor standing next to his bed wiped his eyes, according to Alsaudeh newspaper.
“Ricard, or Abdullah, died a day after he embraced Islam at hospital,” the paper said without mentioning where and when he converted.
