Arsenal are reportedly close to signing Basel defender Fabian Schar in a £9.5million transfer deal.
The Gunners have been tracking Swiss international Schar for the last few years and Arsene Wenger was recently said to be eying a January move.
And now reports say the switch is ‘very close’ to being agreed, with Arsenal set to hand over £9.5million to bring Schar to the Emirates Stadium in the new year.
