Arsenal have moved back to the top of the Premier League after beating Swansea City 2-1 in a professional performance at the Liberty Stadium.

Serge Gnabry out the Gunners ahead with his first professional goal, before Aaron Ramsey doubled the advantage shortly after.

The hosts pulled one back through full-back Ben Davies, and despite a battling push late on, they couldn’t find a way through the Arsenal backline.

The late drama went totally against the script after a dull first-half which saw only a handful of chances, with Olivier Giroud wasting the best of them before the break.

Jonjo Shelvey and Amat had half-opportunities for Swansea, but Michael Laudrup’s men failed to work Wojciech Szczesny.

Arsenal exploded out of the traps in the second period and took the lead when Gnabry rolled inside and smashed beyond the advance Michel Vorm.

Mesut Ozil should have doubled the scoreline with a chance a moment later, but Ramsey would put his side in the driving seat with a composed finish.

Swansea made things nervy when Davies burst through and finished, but despite Wilfried Bony and Michu being dangerous, Arsenal took the points and go back on top.
